Types of flagpoles-categorizing flagpoles beyond 100-200’ flagpoles, monster flagpoles etc.

When asked about the various types of flagpoles, you would probably know about types like the 100-200’ flagpoles, monster flagpoles etc. However not many people know how flagpoles are categorized according, to their structure. So, here is a list of the various types according to that.

1.      Tin ground flagpoles- These flagpoles are installed using a ground sleeve or a foundation sleeve, or using a shoe base with external bolts. Ground set installations are the strongest as well as the most common type of installation. Shoe base installations are often used when above ground installation. This includes flagpoles installed on a roof top or an existing concrete foundation.

4.      Vertical Wall Mount flagpoles-These flagpoles are similar in many ways to outrigger flagpoles. The main difference is that they are mounted vertically.
