As everyone knows that
all countries use different flags and flagpoles so as to project the pride and
Patriotism of the country. In the country, there are many flagpoles among which
the largest flag Pole is about 560 feet tall which is located in the Jeddah
Flagpole in Saudi Arabia. This is located in the middle of King Abdullah Square
in Jeddah which is considered as the second largest city in Saudi Arabia.
Buddhist flag was established in September 2014 and is the prominent flagpole
constructed by the Al-Babtain Power and Telecom and the Abdul L Jameel
community. This flagpole is manufactured
by using 5 tons of steel and it is said to have greater significance and impact
on the country.
The next flagpole under
this category is about 541 feet height which is constructed by the Jeddah
Flagpole, the Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan. This is most popularly known as
the world's second largest
flagpole. The design process of the flag started in July 2009 and the
flagpole was officially installed in May 2011.It supports 98 foot by the
197-foot flag which weighs a whopping 1,540 pounds. And the third
position is occupied by the Azerbaijan which is approximately 531 feet in
height. This flag is built in the city square of Baku which is said to have 230
foot by the 115-foot flag that is installed in the middle of the city. It is
situated in such a way that every passenger can have a look at it.
And the next largest flag
Pole is about 525 feet in height and age most commonly known as Kijongdong
which is located in North Korea. For more than 10 years this has been the
world's tallest
flagpole after which it has occupied the 4th position. However, in
towards the title lost in 2010 when the other country started the trend of
implementing flagpoles. Finally, Ashgabat flagpole located in Turkmenistan and
his about 436 feet in height. This is the fifth tallest in the world and is one
of the several Central Asian countries on the list. This is the pride of the
country as the tall flagpole was build so
as to commemorate 20 year anniversaries of the split between the countries.
